Our journey starts from Funchal , Flights to and from Italy are not included in the package, so you will have the freedom to depart from the airport of your choice. The first day is dedicated to the group, we start to (Un)getting to know each other immersing ourselves in the local atmosphere and preparing for the adventures that await us in the coming days.
We'll start the day by setting sail aboard a catamaran to admire the island from a different perspective, sharing the experience with other passionate explorers. We will probably come across groups of dolphins in their natural environment, or even some whale . The afternoon is dedicated to a trek in Ponta de São Lourenço , the easternmost point of the island, we'll enter a path that will offer us breathtaking views.
It rises majestically at 1862 meters above sea level, Pico Ruivo This is where we will arrive with our trek, a route with extraordinary views, one of the most beautiful treks in the world. We are located on the pinnacle of Madeira, a place considered unsurpassed for contemplating sunrise and sunset. Afterwards we will visit Santana , the country of the typical triangular stone houses of Madeira!
We start off great with a morning at the natural pools of Porto Moniz, a corner of paradise where the sea meets the volcanic rocks. Perfect for a refreshing dip and some postcard shots! Then, you change scenery and go towards the Miradouro de Garganta Funda. Prepare to be amazed by a waterfall that looks like it came out of a painting. Perfect for a break with a nice sandwich and the sound of the water as a soundtrack. We end in Ponta do Pargo, on the westernmost point of Madeira. Here, between dizzying cliffs and views of infinity, it is the top place to end the day, especially at sunset.
Let's start with the Angels Waterfall , where the water falls directly onto the road , a unique and super Instagrammable phenomenon! We then head towards the path of the 25 Sources, A fantastic walk through nature, with a dreamy ending: a pond surrounded by waterfalls that spill over the rocks.
Today awaits us Fanal Pond , a hidden gem that seems to come out of a fairy tale. Imagine a quiet pond surrounded by a forest where the trees seem to tell thousand-year-old stories. We will have the company of numerous and nice Cows that will accompany us on our journey.
The seventh day is dedicated to the exploration of Funchal , the capital of the island. Here we will be free to explore the market of Mercado dos Lavradores, famous for its bright colors and local products. We will be able to visit the Botanical garden to admire the unique flora of the island and the Monte Palace for a breathtaking panoramic view. There will also be the opportunity to visit the museum of Cristiano Ronaldo. Finally, we will be able to explore the alleys of the historic center and climb the cable car for a spectacular view.
